Wigan and Blues agree fee for Kapo

Wigan and Blues agree fee for Kapo

Birmingham midfielder Olivier Kapo is having talks with Wigan Athletic after a bid of £3.5 million was accepted.

The player is trying to sort out a three year deal with the Premiership outfit and manager Alex McLeish had already said earlier that he would not stand in his way.

Kapo is undergoing a medical at the JJB and discussing personal terms according to his agent Willie McKay.

'Olivier is currently undergoing a medical after Wigan agreed a fee with Birmingham,' McKay told Sky Sports.

'We are continuing talks over a possible three-year deal and we hope to have things concluded soon.'
