Pearson on his way to St Andrews
Derby County Midfielder Stephen Pearson is set to leave the Rams and join Birmingham City according to the Debyshire Evening Telegraph.
The Scottish international has been unsure about his future at Pride Park lately, last season he went out on loan to Stoke City who won promotion to the Premier League.
Derby boss Paul Jewell said: "I spoke to Alex McLeish and the clubs have agreed a fee for Stephen. It is now up to them to sort the deal out."
Blues can expect to pay around £600,000 for the player.
