Pearson injury ends Blues interest

Pearson injury ends Blues interest

A groin injury to Derby County`s Stephen Pearson looks like causing Blues to end their interest in signing the player.

The midfielder held talks with Birmingham last week and agreed personal terms and a fee of £575,000 was agreed, but Blues cooled their interest over the weekend because of a problem with his fitness.

The injury would have him out of Derby's friendly at Burton last Wednesday before Birmingham came in for the player according to the Derbyshire Telegraph.

Lets face it, I dont think he'd have been that good, we should be looking at players better than that.
