Larsson earns Blues a draw

Sabastian Larsson found the net to earn Blues a 1-1 draw at home to Fulham in the last of the pre season friendlies at St Andrews yesterday.

Birmingham didn`t threaten too much and could have fallen behind straight from the kick off but Zamora fired over the bar

But the Blues fell behind just after having an appeal for a penalty turned down when Davies made a 40 yard run and slotted the ball past Maik Taylor.

Fulham should have gone on to wrap the game up but failed in front of goal.

And that left Larsson to hand out the punishment when he picked up a ball from Jerome and cut inside from the right before firing home.

Birmingham: Taylor, Kelly, Jaidi, Ridgewell, Murphy, Larsson, Mutch, Carsley, McSheffrey, Phillips, O'Connor.

Subs: Doyle, Taylor, Jerome, Nafti, McFadden, Queudrue, Parnaby, Bent.
