'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A Friday night in Swansea

Birmingham City make the trip to the Liberty stadium tonight to face Swansea and they will be without the services of on loan midfielder Nigel Quashie.

Quashie must serve a one match ban after getting himself sent off for two bookable offences in the game with Charlton at the weekend.

The game would have been Quashie`s last game of his current loan period although Blues are looking to extend his current deal

It will be a tough task for Birmingham as Swansea are unbeaten at home this season, but Blues are boosted by the news that all players that were on international duty (James McFadden, Sebastian Larsson, Maik Taylor and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie ) have all returned on one piece.

David Murphy is back from a knee injury but Franck Queudrue should continue after being pretty impressive of late.

Damien Johnson (back), Garry O'Connor (groin), Stuart Parnaby (hamstring) Stephen Kelly (thigh) and winger Gary McSheffrey (knee) are all doing well on the road to recovery, but none should feature in this game.
