Blues vs Wolves: Early team news

Birmingham take on Wolves at St Andrews tonight in the FA Cup third round, it should go ahead this time after a frozen pitch saw the last game cancelled.

And for this game, four out of the five January signings will not feature. Lee Bowyer, Scott Sinclair, Hameur Bouazza and Keith Fahey all penned deals after the initial meeting was due to take place, this means they cannot take part in the rearranged tie.

The other new arrival, Robin Shroot, could find himself on the bench.

A re-occurrence of a hip problem means that striker Kevin Phillips will play no part and midfielder Seb Larsson will also not be considered, despite returning to training after a groin problem.

David Murphy gets a chance to serve his one match ban after the last two games were postponed, including the first game against Wolves.

Winger Gary McSheffrey stays out of the side while Garry O'Connor continues his road to recovery after his groin operation.
