'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Blues must live with it.

Birmingham manager Alex McLeish knows that his side are likely to come in for more stick from the fans if they perform like they did at Coventry on Saturday and he says that his players will have to deal with it.

Blues still sit second in the league at the moment but it could have been so much better had it not been for some disappointing results of late.

'I think the players have to expect that (supporters' jeers), we all have to expect that,' he told the Birmingham Post.

'Our fans' expectations are that we will come to Coventry and win handsomely. I know realistically that's not going to happen especially when Coventry are on a pretty decent run at the moment.

'We certainly had the players to come and get the positive result but we just didn't bring the level, too many players never played to their level.'
