Ulises de la Cruz gets short term contract

Ecuadorean defender Ulises de la Cruz a one-month contract at Birmingham City after a successful trial at the club.

The 35-year-old has made 98 appearances for his country and arrives with a wealth of experience. He joins the Blues on a deal until April 2nd after impressing boss Alex McLeish during a trial period.

De la Cruz will be available for Wednesday night's home clash with Bristol City.
