Shroot goes on loan to Walsall

Shroot goes on loan to Walsall

Walsall have swooped to sign Blues winger Robin Shroot on a one-month loan deal.

Shroot has been at St Andrews since January and goes to Walsall to pick up a bit more valuable first team experience after making just one appearance in the FA Cup against Wolves for Blues so far.

He could feature for the League One club in Saturday's game at Southend United.

Saddlers boss Chris Hutchings told the club's official website: 'We are delighted to have Robin on board. He is a player that was mentioned to me when he was at Harrow where he showed a lot of promise.

'The opportunity arose to take him on loan and we are grateful to Alex McLeish for allowing him to come here'.
