Carr signed until end of season

After seeing defender Stephen Carr impress during his initial one month spell at St Andrews, Birmingham have signed the player until the end of the season.

Carr has featured in all six games since his arrival and manager Alex McLeish said: 'Stephen has brought a calmness and good positional, covering play to the back four.

'I never doubted his quality but a fear about the lack of games he had played this season before he arrived at the club has been dispelled by his performances.'
