'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Taylor reveals confidence in the side

Birmingham goalkeeper Maik Taylor has said that himself and the rest of the Blues side will go into the final few games of the season full of confidence after beating leaders Wolves at St Andrews on Monday.

The 2-0 win over Wolves in the top-of-table clash leaves Birmingham just two points behind Wanderers with just five games left to play.

Taylor told the Birmingham Mail: 'We are playing well now and dominating games a lot more, playing off the front foot as the manager and everyone wants.

'I think we are dictating for longer periods. We feel very confident at the moment and the win over Wolves was a huge, huge result on the back of the way things went at the weekend.

'With Sheffield United having their game in hand on Tuesday and then playing Reading on Friday, it was important for us to win.

'We've now put a little bit more pressure on Wolves, we can start asking questions of them and we are looking forward to the remaining games.'
