Blues in for Oldham's Taylor?

According to the Daily Mirror this morning, Blues manager Alex McLeish has made an early move to try and capture Oldham's exciting young left winger Chris Taylor with a £600,000 bid.

The paper reports that McLeish has approached the hard-up Latics about their 22- year-old home-grown star and is awaiting permission to go ahead with the move.
