Onyewu could be Blues player soon

Oguchi Onyewu is very likely to become a Birmingham player in the near future after confirming that he has an an offer from Blues.

The defender, currently contracted to Standard Liege, but the Belgian press has been full of speculation about a move to England for the 27 year old.

Reports have said that the player is considering an offer from the Blues and has been given a week to respond.

He told skysports.com: 'I have many offers and I want to play in England so the Birmingham offer is there.

'We will know by the weekend.'
