Jerome urges Larsson to commit to Blues

Birmingham striker Cameron Jerome wants his team mate Sebastian Larsson to follow him by signing a ne deal with the club.

Jerome has just signed a new three year contract with a further two year option and speculation has it that Larsson has been offered a similar deal.

Since Blues dropped out of the Premier League, much has been said about Larsson leaving the club after him not signing a new contract.

Despite promotion, the 24-year-old is still believed to be mulling over a new deal, but Jerome has stressed his desire to see his team-mate commit.

'Everyone would like to see Seb commit his future to the club,' Jerome told the Birmingham Mail.

'He's still a young lad as well, he's learning his game and I think he's settled in Birmingham now.

'Everyone gets on with him around the training ground, the fans like him and he's a good lad.

'He's the sort of player you want in your squad, you don't want to lose his quality. He's got it in abundance. At the same time, the deal has got to be right for him.

'If he can agree terms, then I can't see why he wouldn't want to sign.'
