'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Phillips talk rubbished

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish has said that there is no truth in the rumour that Kevin Phillips is on his way out of the club and heading for Leicester in a 750,000 move.

There has been reports linking Phillips with being the man the Foxes want to boost their attacking options just before the new season starts.

But McLeish said: 'Nobody has approached us. It's just designed to keep the papers selling.'

Leicester are now said to be concentrating on signing Leroy Lita from Reading instead.
