'If It's Football, It's Vital'

McLeish waits on news of injured duo

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish saw his side go down 2-1 at Nottingham Forest on Saturday and also has the worry over the fitness of Martin Taylor and Marcus Bent after they both picked up injuries.

Lee Carsley's 80th-minute effort was not enough to rescue a draw after goals from David McGoldrick and substitute Robert Earnshaw.

Taylor`s injury could be the worst of the two as he left the field on a stretcher and with his right leg in a brace.

Striker Bent hobbled off in the second period having been on the pitch for just 15 minutes.

'Both will be scanned (on Sunday) to find out the extent of the damage.'
