Phillips has no intention of leaving

Birmingham striker Kevin Phillips insists he is going nowhere except on the St Andrews pitch to fight for his place in the team.

There was talk of the veteran striker heading off to Leicester City, but there is nothing in those reports and Kevin is happy where is at Birmingham.

"It`s news to me these stories, I haven`t got a clue about Leicester," Phillips told the Birmingham Mail.

"I have had my chat with the manager in the week, I`m happy where I am. I have said all along that I was determined to help this club get in the Premier League and now I intend to enjoy a season in it."
