Blues Player Focus: Espinoza

Giovanny Espinoza has been pretty much over shadowed at Birmingham thus far due to his flair-filled south American counterpart Christian Benitez. So what's going on with Gio at the moment?

A sturdy performance in the reserves two weeks ago, and he got 60 mins in for Ecuador.

I've seen a bit of him and he's very solid, I was quite impressed with the experienced stopper. This gives me great confidence knowing someone like this is going to be our back-up.

Although it looks like Johnson, Dann and Ridgewell will be the main centre backs; I wouldn't be surprised to see Espinoza getting a respected run in the team.
