Shevchenko a Target??

According to the Daily Mirror, Carson Yeung is about to give the go ahead for Birmingham to make a move for Chelsea flop, Andriy Shevchenko.

Blues new owner is said to be keen to bring in some top names to grab the club some support in Asia after his takeover.

There is talk of at least £20 million being invested in players during the January transfer window and Shevchenko is a target.

The 33 year old was a flop the last time he was brought to England, he scored just nine times for Chelsea after they paid £30 million to AC Millan for his services.

But Yeung is willing to break Birmingham`s wage structure to sign the veteran hitman on a lucrative contract.

the flop has just put Kiev 1-0 up against Inter, much to Mourinho's annoyance!

You might have £40m burning a hole in your pocket, but there's no need to waste it!

You have all that money and your thinking of wasting it on Shevchenko! You could buy a decent striker with that money.

No chance, what a waste of money that would be
