'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Konchesky Move To Be Made?

Birmingham City have again been linked with a move for Fulham left back Paul Konchesky.

The 28 year old is a reported target of Blues boss Alex McLeish and the player is out of contract in the summer which could tempt McLeish into making a January move, the amount being talked about is 750,000.

But Fulham boss Roy Hodgson won`t want the player to leave and will almost certainly try to keep him at Craven Cottage by making him a new offer.

He's the only legitimate left back we have, so unless we're planning a purchase in January, I can't see this happening - and certainly not for 750,000. At the very least, I think you'd have to triple that figure.
