Hart For England says Blues Boss

Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish is backing on loan keeper Joe Hart for a place in the England squad that goes to the World Cup finals in South Africa.

Hart has impressed at St Andrews since joining from Manchester City on a season long loan spell and McLeish expects him to earn an England cap shortly.

The Blues boss said: 'I think England like him and he has got every opportunity.

'He's got a great chance of making the World Cup squad, he's a massive presence. He works really hard and we've got a goalkeeping coach who drives him relentlessly in Dave Watson.

'I think he could be the best thing that has ever happened to Joe Hart.

'Joe has also tidied up his game on a couple of things. Some things he's been absolutely superb at and we've loved from day one.

'Some things he's tidied up in recent weeks and he looks a real prospect for England.'

Not a first choice England keeper (yet) but if he keeps up his form then I reckon he might just make the squad. And then we'll have him back!
