International Round Up

Blues midfielder Jiri Jarosik was in action as the Czech Republic faced Norway in Oslo. The Czech's were handed a vital first leg victory thanks to former Liverpool Midfielder Vladimir Smicer who grabbed the only goal of the game just after the half hour mark.

Jiri was introduced from the subs bench with 4 minutes remaining.

Blues' other international on duty this weekend was Stan Lazaridis but he missed out on Australia's 1-0 in Montevideo against Uruguay.

Also Keeper Maik Taylor has been named in the Northern Ireland squad for their international friendly against Portugal this week.

Damien Johnson has not been included in the squad.
