No Benitez For West Ham Trip

Blues take on West Ham at Upton Park on Wednesday night and they will be without the services of Christian Benitez.

The striker is ruled out after picking up an ankle injury in the game with Wolves at the weekend meaning that manager Alex McLeish will have to change his starting line up for the first time in 13 Premier League games.

But McLeish does have a couple of options including giving a start to Sunday`s hero Kevin Phillips.

Blues (from): Hart, Carr, Johnson, Dann, Ridgewell, Larsson, Ferguson, Bowyer, McFadden, Jerome, Fahey, Taylor, Phillips, Michel, Jervis, Vignal, Gardner, Parnaby.
