'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Clem Believes

Birmingham midfielder Stephen Clemence insists 'there's no doubt in my mind that we won't be relegated this season'.

Blues lie second-bottom in the Premiership following a run of five successive defeats.

But Clemence told the Evening Mail: 'We all believe we are going to turn it round. At the same time we know this league is a tough league and we've given ourselves a bit of a mountain to climb.

'The players have had chats between themselves, as well as meetings with management. We're desperate to put things right and we've been looking at various things and talking about them.

'You look back at our games and we should have nicked more points than we've actually got. If we had, we would be sitting more comfortably now. But that hasn't happened and now we've really got to make sure we start winning up to the Christmas period.'
