'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Johnson Insists Blues Will Keep Right On

Roger Johnson has assured fans that Birmingham will not be letting up on putting the pressure on clubs as the season starts to come to an end.

Blues have had a great season on their return to the Premier League, but have had a couple of dodgy results of late, including a 3-1 defeat to Sunderland at the weekend.

But Johnson insists that the side will not be settling for results like that just because they are safe from going back down.

He told Sky Sports: 'I am sure that has happened before at other clubs, you get yourself safe and then take your foot off the gas.

'But that's not what we are like and we will look to put things right on Wednesday because we were disappointed with the way we have performed in the last two games.'
