McFadden Keen To Do A Deal

Scottish international James McFadden wants to get a couple of issues sorted out straight away regarding a new contract with the club, but is keen to sign one.

The 26 year old is fast reaching the final year of his current contract with the club, but would like to see a longer option added instead of the two year one that Blues have
McFadden feels that he would like to be more certain that his long-term future is with Alex McLeish's men.

'With the weird and wonderful way the contracts are done, I have a year left with a two-year option,' said McFadden.

'That was the way it was done before, but hopefully that can change and there won't be this confusion for everyone.'
