Eck Pleads For An Answer On Hart

Blues manager Alex McLeish wants an answer from Manchester City about goalkeeper Joe Hart as soon as possible.

McLeish does not want to be kept waiting on whether Blues can keep Hart or not as he doesn`t want to risk losing out on his target.

Another loan deal is what McLeish has planned for the young keeper who has every chance of getting into the England World Cup squad, but Citeh boss Roberto Mancini is stalling because he wants to have a good look at Hart himself.

This could mean that the young stopper could end up on the bench at Eastlands and that won`t do him any good at all in Mcleish`s opinion.

'It will be great to get an early nod on Joe from City because we wouldn't want to be going into the May-June period thinking that Joe is going to be coming back here - when he is not.

'We have to get an answer from City quite soon - and I am sure Joe wants an answer as well.'

He added: 'I know managers can't think about one player and one team. You have to think about the whole team and the whole club and you have to have a vision for the whole club.

'But the human element in me says a player of Joe's magnitude, after what he has done this season, will find it very difficult to be sitting on someone's bench next season regardless of maybe getting a pay hike.'

Video evidence was submitted and an FA Regulatory Commission agreed that the card should not have been given.

Wish he would stop banging on about this issue, just wait until the end of the season. Patience is a virtue.
