Yeung To Pay Up To Seymour Pierce

Yeung To Pay Up To Seymour Pierce

Birmingham owner Carson Yeung is set to cough up the £2.2 million that the High Court ruled he must pay to investment bank Seymour Pierce in the next couple of days.

The payment is for consultancy fees according to the bank for work done just before Yueng purchased 29.9% of the club three years ago

But although the fee is about to be paid, there will be an appeal launched to try and recoup the money back again.

There had been speculation that Seymour Pierce would attempt to take control of the club if they did not receive payment although Birmingham City were quick to deny this.
