Gardner Can't Wait For Villa Game

Blues` star Craig Gardner is looking forward to going back to Villa Park at the weekend with the hope of putting one across his old side.

Gardner is a life long Blues supporter and although he knows he could be in for some stick from the Villa fans, he cannot wait for the game, his first derby in a Blues shirt.

He told Sky Sports News: 'It is going to be a massive game, especially with myself being a Blues fan, and going to Villa Park and playing in the Blues strip. I just can't wait.

'What reception I get will be up to the fans. I've moved on.

'It's nothing to do with the club. The club were brilliant to me and the manager. I haven't got a bad thing to say about the club.'

'I don't think I deserve stick but if I get a bad reception, I'm not going to take it out on anyone,' he added.

'I'm just going to get on with it, just get on with the job. I'd love to score the winner on Sunday but I wouldn't celebrate over the top."

Oh my god, Gardner is a tool, does he not remember all of the interviews he gave when he played for Villa and he was a Villa fan??? I heard he was getting real abuse at summer row quite recently aswell, and just stood there like a right tool and didnt know what to say, CLOWN.

Not the sharpest tool in the box from all reports but scored a couple of crackers for us and always tried his best. Strange that he only recently came out of the closet though but rather have his more talented non-axemurdering brother anyway.
