Johnson: Ref Was A Disgrace.

Birmingham City defender Roger Johnson believes that referee Martin Atkinson should come and apologise for his decision to hand Aston Villa three points on Sunday.

Villa met their match in a Blues side that gave as good and they got and they had keeper Brad Friedel to thank for keeping them from going behind on more than one occasion, not to mention a goalline clearance.

But Villa looked unlikely to break through the Blues defence so as soon as Atkinson saw an excuse to award a penalty, he took it. Even though it wasn`t anything like a penalty.

'Was it a penalty? No, end of story,' said Johnson after the game.

'The ref was a disgrace for the whole game and the match was too big for him.

'I said to him that if he has anything about him, he'll come out and apologise. We'll see if he does.'

As much of a disgrace as that Steven Carr? What a dirty little ****. Should of been shown a red for what he did to the spot. and shouldnt be able to play for the rest of this season for his "gay gesture".

You lost, it was a penalty, get over it, the best thing about your 'team' is your keeper, and he's on loan!
