Carr Upsets Sensitive Villa Fans

Carr Upsets Sensitive Villa Fans

Police are having to waste time looking into allegations that Birmingham City defender Stephen Carr made an offensive gesture towards the oh so sensitive Aston Villa fans on Sunday.

Carr, 33, and other Blues players were not at all happy about the penalty awarded to the home side by their twelfth man who was supposed to be officiating the match.

Tearful Villa fans alleged Carr made a gesture towards them as he left the pitch.

Now the FA will look at the 'referee`s` report before deciding whether to take action.

A spokesman for ze Vest Midlands Police Force told the BBC: 'West Midlands Police have received a complaint regarding an offensive gesture allegedly made by a player at the end of the Aston Villa-Birmingham City match on Sunday.

'The matter is currently being investigated by detectives and inquiries are ongoing.'

We will be having a collection to buy the poor Villa fans affected trauma treatment and a bunch of flowers each.

Was it a Villa fan who made the complaint? I see no quotes, but don't let the facts get in the way of a good bit*h fest! Count yourselves lucky that there is not an investigation into the damage you all caused, ripping up seats and setting fire to bins in the toilets, how old are you lot? I've always thought you were all retards, and you just continue to prove my point. You lost, AGAIN, get over it! Let's face facts, you should be used to it by now. UTV

In this case (like the banter by the way!) I'm pretty sure it wasn't via a fan complaint to be fair, it was difficult to miss. Fans give out so sometimes have to expect to take but surprised it was Carr with so much experience and also, lets face it, the local derby doesn't mean much to him, if it was a local lad playing I could understand it. Never great for players to react though is it? It wouldn't go down well if our lot did it at St Andrews? Do you remember when DOL rang across the pitch and did a salute a few years back? Blues fans thought it was directed at them and were hopping mad, turns out he was waving to Ellis.

You not surprised it was Carr who did this Foxxy? Maybe he was still sore as the ball hit him right in the ,,, errr, balls earlier in the game!

Most Blues players come from the gutter and in times of stress return to the gutter. Paul Tate, Robbie Savage and now Carr to name but a few.

I'm more unimpressed by him trying to stop milner scoring the pen by kicking at the penalty spot - shame really I thought he had a really good game - stuff the police enquiry, your right thats a right waste of time but he should be banned for a game for scuffing the penalty spot.
