'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jerome Is Ours

Following the interview by Jerome's agent last night, the club have released a statement both confirming the speculation, and I suspect showing a little bit of annoyance with the agents actions.

The statement begins by stating (funny that) that Blues 'would like to make known its policy relating to player transfers and signings.

'It is no longer the Club's intention to release any information on interest in or negotiations for prospective player signings until agreements have been fully concluded.'

Not sure why I shared that, but thought you might like to know.

The remainder of the statement went as follows:

'However, following recent press speculation, and confirmation by the player's agent, the Club would like to share with its supporters that terms have been agreed with Cardiff City for Cameron Jerome.

Karren Brady met with the player's agent last night and they have now agreed terms.

Jerome will be flying back from Miami early next week.'

Miami, lucky for some eh! Well no confirmation on the price but the player is undoubtedly ours now. Let's hope he's worth the fee!

Big signing, lets hope he scores 20 for us next season, that should put us up the top of the Champ and give us a shot of Prem again.

Looks like terms are agreed grosey, and i reckon he'll go to Birmingham. A good deal for Bruce i'd say. A young player with prospects and can also learn from heskey et al.
