Blues Heading Out To Far East

Blues will be making a mini tour of Hong Kong and China for as part of the pre-season warm up for the next Premiership campaign.

The lads will start a two week tour in July, taking in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shenyang although the final details have not yet been confirmed.

Yeung told BCFC.com: 'Everyone knows how proud my colleagues and I are to be in charge of a great club like Birmingham City and it will be our honour to welcome the manager, his coaches, the squad, club officials and supporters to our country.

'Many, many people in Hong Kong and China have become proud Bluenoses and I know they are very excited about the prospect of Blues coming over here.

'We are ambitious and have big plans regarding commercial and cultural link-ups between Birmingham and Hong Kong and China - as highlighted by the recent announcement of a five-year deal with Chinese kit manufacturers Xtep.

'This is a tremendous opportunity for everyone involved and one that will be truly embraced by us all.'
