'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Zigic Cant Hide His Delight Over Blues Move

Birmingham City`s new striker Nikola Zigic could not hide his delight after signing for Blues.

The 29 year old completed a four year deal with the St Andrews outfit which is believed to have cost the club somewhere in the region of 6 million.

After helping Racing Santander escape relegation while on loan last season, Zigic admitted that he jumped at the chance of getting into the English Premier league and he is glad it is City that he has joined.

'I am absolutely delighted to be at Birmingham. Playing in the Premier League is something I have always wanted to do,' he told Sky Sports.

'It will be a super experience and I'm thoroughly looking forward to it.

'I've been watching the Premier League for many years, it's something I've always followed and kept up to date with.

'What really swayed me to join Birmingham was the potential of playing for such a big club in the Premier League and the potential of playing in Europe and it was an opportunity I couldn't turn down.

'I am delighted to get the deal done so quickly.'

No wonder he's delighted, Villa were after him as well.

'The potential for playing in Europe'.... ha ha ha ha. This guy got the wrong team in Birmingham. Bit like Robinho at Man City. Funniest thing I've heard in years.

If thats the funniest thing you have heard in years then you dont get out much do you? Have you tried getting a girlfriend?
JJ McDuff
Latchford59 villa have been 'linked' with zigic for years now and we have never made a move and when he begins to play for you, you will realise why (:
I am a Villan
And you have seen him every day have you? Drip.
JJ McDuff
looks a decent signing to me as long as your midfield doesn't fall into the trap of lumping the ball to him as many teams do when they get big players (eg to Crouch)
The Fear
JJ McDuff no i havnt seen him play every day because teams dont play every day you weasell! i have saw him play international, valencia and for racing santander and im glad you have got him and not us haha would be a nightmare for us, we alredy have heskey dont need someone else as bad.
I am a Villan
And you judge him on one game? Ever likely you support villa, you're thick.
JJ McDuff
he just lost to NZ playing for serbia and is total *****.
Uskok
JJ McDuff your the thick bluenose, i havent said ive watched him in one game? ive saw him in a lot over the years for all 3 clubs and he is good in the air but footwork and work effort is awful, but i think its been addressed that we didnt call his agent just some jeolous bluenoses trying to stir up trouble to get 1 over on us because they cant do it on the pitch (:
I am a Villan

what are you suppose to be saying in that link? villa have relesed an official statement on our website that the rubbish that came out of that lanky sh**s agent was complete and utter rubbish and it was just a comment to make villa fans react and something bluenose scum thought they could have over on us because lets be honest, everything about villa is so much better we are superior in every way (: SIMPLES
I am a Villan

JJ McDuff
