'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Birmingham City - Tilton Tattle - 2

The gossip and rumours continue with Blues being linked to 20-year-old centre-half Vanco Sikov who plays for Greek side Xanthi.

City apparently, head a queue of clubs chasing Colchester United's Neil Danns. The 23-year-old midfielder helped his team with promotion to the Championship with 16 goals but Colchester are said to be resigned to losing him as his contract runs out this summer. Reports suggest that the former Blackburn trainee could be available for a knockdown price with Ic Brum mentioning a fee of around £500 000. They also suggest the transfer could be completed this week.

Bruce is also still being linked to out-of-contract midfielder Kenny Lunt. The Crewe player, or is that now former Crewe player, is also being watched by Wolves, Coventry and Leicester.

The transfer of 20-year old Cameron Jerome from Cardiif City is believed to be imminent.
More reports linking Emile Heskey to a £3.5million move to Blackburn.

Cameron Jerome is in dream land and says he sometimes has to pinch himself. Steady on. The transfer of the Cardiff City star is expected to be completed on Wednesday when he undergoes a medical. He said: 'I am excited by the move and sometimes you have to pinch yourself to realise what is going on around you. It was only a year or so ago I was playing for the Cardiff youth team.'

David Gold says that Emile Heskey will be 'absolutely awesome' in the Championship next season and re-states that Blues don't have to sell any players but any funds generated by sales will go straight back into the team.

Blues could still be in with a chance of landing the Las Vegas style Casino, despite Birmingham City Council's decision to not back the plan, and favour the doomed NEC bid.

Jermaine Pennant has been linked to Liverpool.

Emile Heskey was backed by 51% of those who voted on the Vital poll asking if Blues should keep the striker. 21% said he should be sold and 28% said he should only be sold if the fee is £3million or more.

Our latest poll asked if Jermaine Pennant should be sold. 51% said no, 39% said he should be sold if he can generate more than £3.5m and 10% said only if we get more than £5million.

Vital Blues are now asking who will leave, Emile Heskey, Jermaine Pennant, both or neither?
