Babel Bid May Go In After World Cup

Birmingham City are lining up a new bid for Liverpool striker Ryan Babel after the World Cup according to reports.

There was a bid of around 7million made for the 23 year old in January, but things fell through late on just as it looked like a move would be possible.

This time Blues would need to offer at least the same again, but whether or not Liverpool will lay ball is anyone`s guess, they paid 11.5million for his services three years ago.

Another thing which might make the deal harder is if the player does well in the World Cup for Holland, other eyes will be upon him.

I'm undecided he would have been good in January but now with other options. I don't know.

What is the point in writing this article when you don't offer an opinion? Seriously!

What is there to say? Personally I hope that it is nothing but seculation and hope he stays where he is. I feel he is over rated, overpriced and would not fit in with our style of play at all. But that's just me.
