Bid For Nigerian Striker Knocked Back?

Bid For Nigerian Striker Knocked Back?

There are reports today that say Birmingham City have failed in a bid to bring Nigeria World Cup striker Peter Odemwingie to St Andrews.

Blues were supposed to have offered £1.6 million for the Lokomotiv Moscow forward, but that is far from his club`s valuation of him.

Lokomotiv are looking for around £8.5 million for the 28 year old who still has a year of his current contract left.
