Derbyshire Having Medical With Blues

Derbyshire Having Medical With Blues

Former Blackburn striker Matt Derbyshire is reportedly having a medical with Birmingham City ahead of a proposed loan move from Olympiacos.

Derbyshire joined the Greek side after leaving Blackburn Rovers in 2009, but he has not been the hit that he once was and Olympiacos are looking to offload the 24 year old.

Derbyshire made a name for himself with the Greek champions when he first moved scoring 11 goals in 26 appearances and that is the sort of form that McLeish wants to see the player get back.

Derbyshire will initially join on loan with a view to a permanent move should he manage to impress.
