Pennant Not For Sale

Karren Brady has rubbished reports that Jermaine Pennant will be signing for Liverpool, or anyone else for that matter.

After many rumours speculating that Pennant was on the verge of a £3.5 million move to Liverpool Karren Brady said:

'We want to get out of this division as soon as possible. Therefore we will be buying players and not selling them as our aim is to go into the Championship with the best squad in the league.'

Furthermore Brady stated that Liverpool Chief Exec Rick Parry had not been in touch over the player and that obviously should any contact come, it would be flatly refused.

Great, they keep saying that we don't have to sell so looks like we may just have a squad capable of challenging to come straight back again.

it will be very good news if u can keep him. but if a big bid comes in it will be hard to turn it down

Depends on the bid doesn't it. Making waves that nobody is for sale can only push up certain bids anyway so at least the club wins in more ways than one. I'd like to see Pennant stay, his pace would be a great asset in the Champ and I think he'd take the opportuinity to shine!
