Blues Fans Need Reality Check Pt 1

St3v3 posted on the Vital Blues board that us fans need a reality check.

If us fans think we're going straight back I think we all need a reality check.

Adding:

Don't get me wrong. I'm as Blue as the next man, but look at the rebuilding that needs to be done. On top of I doubt the board will spend the kind of money that is truly needed. And Bruce has already been backed.

Therefore if there any doubts over Bruces spending then this a loose cog in our promotion machine and that can only mean breakdown some time soon.

With Alan Curbishley and Martin O'Neill available to return to management NOW was the absolute best time to say good bye to Bruce and thank him for all he has done.

With a new manager the board has restored faith in their spending. The new manager has fresh enthusiasm and the player he brings in are going to be up for the fight. This is the mentality we need to get back. We have a long hard season of wining winning winning to aspire to. It doesn't look good while Brucey is still spending prudent money.

You will have a very good chance of coming straight back up. Your players will hopefully be loyal to you and as Green Giant 12 said. You will have the best quad :), Squad in the championship. Just get your players sorted before you do come back or you'l get spanked back down again ha ha. Play up Pompey!

Depends if they are up for the fight and that they all avoid the injury nightmares of last season, if both of those factors are in our favour then I see no reason why we can't bounce back.

I cannot disagree with the fist 2 posters on here. You are buying very good players to enhance your squad and not selling any stars. I reckon you'll be back up in the 1st division next year.
