Blues Look At Defender Options

Blues Look At Defender Options

Reports are still linking us with Spurs defender Stephen Kelly but now the rumours have joined him up with fellow Spurs defender Calum Davenport who is also said to be on Steve Bruce's wish list as he looks to build a new defence following several departures and the long term injury to Matty Upson.

Apparently 23-year-old Davenport, who used to play for Coventry City, has been told he can leave White Hart Lane and Birmingham are interested along with Reading, Norwich and Watford.

According to the Mail a fee of around £1million is set to be agreed for Kelly and David Weir has also joined our shopping list as he is available on a Bosman.

Not sure you'll get either of them, but i like the way that stevie boy is adding to the squad with quality. I'd have money on you to bounce back straight away.
