Blues Make Second Summer Swoop

Blues Make Second Summer Swoop

Birmingham City have announced that they have agreed a fee with Tottenham Hotspur for 22-year-old defender Stephen Kelly, so it just proves, some press speculation is correct after all.

Kelly who can play across all positions in defence, will now talk over personal terms and have a fitness test.

The Republic of Ireland international (who got his first cap recently) joined Spurs in 2002 and enjoyed loan spells at Watford, QPR and Southend. Paul Stalteri pushed him down the pecking order and he has long since said he would have to move on if he wasn't able to get regular first team football.

Blimey !! Your not hanging about are you. Great professional way to go about things. I can see you bouncing straight back. You are gonna hit the ground running i can see. Steve Bruce will accept nothing less than champions i suspect this year. Well done to the board for backing him too.
