Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish wants his side to go out on Saturday at home to Wigan and make history for the club by either winning or drawing the game.
Should Blues avoid defeat, then they would equal the club`s record of 18 games unbeaten at home in the league and he knows his players are in a determined mood to do it.
Teams that could not beat Blues last season included Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and Man United.
McLeish said: 'This seems to be the topic this week of the media. I'm aware of the headlines telling everyone that is the case. I'm sure people reading that will be thinking 'this will be the one where they finally lose that record after talking about it so much'.
'I can't avoid that. We have a great home record - and we want to preserve it. The players have got to give me everything and to do everything in their power to preserve it. We know some day we will lose at St Andrew's but they won't go down without fighting.'
