Blues Will Try Everything To Keep Seb

Birmingham manager Alex McLeish has assured fans that the club will try everything in their power to get winger Seb Larsson to sign a new deal with the club.

Club and player have been in talks off and on for more than a year now, but so far a deal cannot be agreed.

The Swede is in the final year of his current contract.

McLeish said: "There is nothing doing at the moment with Seb`s contract. We were hopeful we could get something done but it is up to him.

"He is now in a good position for himself if he wants to become a Bosman.

"But we will keep trying to entice him."
