Birmingham To Get Their Spurs?

According to a report in the Daily Mail today Birmingham City will beat off competition from Scottish giants Celtic Rangers and Charlton Athletic for Tottenham Hotspur defender Calum Davenport.

The report suggests Blues will get their second Spurs player in as many weeks for a fee of around 1million. Shame Spurs don't offer a buy-one-get-one-free offer, very popular in Tesco I understand.

The 23-year-old former Coventry City defender is looking for regular first team football and may well be tempted to team up again with Stephen Kelly.
