McLeish Calls For Fan's Trust

Alex McLeish is hoping that Blues fans who are not happy with Birmingham`s indifferent start to the season will put their trust in him.

Seven games into the new season and Blues have registered just one win and last weekend they were boo`d off the park after going down 2-0 to Everton.

That reaction to the first home defeat in 13 months upset McLeish and he wants a bit more faith from the fans.

He told the Birmingham Mail: 'I understand people are frustrated and so are we.

'But the fans have got to trust me. I have been in this game a long time and we are aware of what we need to improve upon. We are trying to find the right solutions, trying to find the right balance.

'There have been some changes since last season and we have dropped some big points. But there are plenty still to play for and we have a team that is well capable.

'We have forwards still striving to find their feet and, as yet, I've not found the most potent combination, despite trying them all.'

I trust him, he got us up here and he has shown that he can keep us here. The booing on Saturday was pathetic

The booing on Saturday was indeed laughable - first loss at home in a year, and they get booed off - pathetic
