O'Connor Returns From Barnsley Stint

Blues striker Garry O`Connor has returned to St Andrews after a successful loan spell at Barnsley.

O`Connor went to Oakwell as he needed sharpening up before boss Alex McLeish would return him to the Birmingham side. He did well on his initial month`s loan and manager Mark Robins wanted to extend the deal.

Blues were happy for that to happen but financial restraints at the Championship side has prevented this from happening.

O`Connor made four appearances, scoring one goal.

He was part of the barnsley side that put five past leeds, in fact he scored. I think his days are numbered at St A's though.
