Beausejour Won't Be Back For Arsenal Clash

Birmingham winger Jean Beausejour will not be back for the game against Arsenal on October 16th due to his knee ligament.

The Chile international cost Blues 3.3 million in the summer but he has not made a league appearance for the club yet.

However, he did play a big part in the Carling Cup victory over MK Dons.
Beausejour was left out of the squad that faced Everton last time out so that he could improve his fitness and be 100% injury free.

'He came to us half-fit, that's part of the problem when you sign players at the end of the transfer window,' said McLeish.

'We have to make sure we don't take any unnecessary risks with him.'

I saw him in the CC and although he was only up against MK, he looked the biziness

We could certainly do with him in the side at the mo, there is a spark missing and something needs to be done to get us back on track. And I dont think throwing anymore money at new players is the answer
