Ivan Rakitic A Target For Blues?

According to Talksport, Birmingham are about to go head to head with Napoli in a war to get Croatian playmaker Ivan Rakitic.

The 22 year old is currently plying his trade at Schalke who he joined from Basle in 2007, since then he has gone on to be one of the leagues more creative midfielders.

His current contract is up next summer, but it is thought that Schalke would be willing to let the player go for around the 8 million mark.
