Bothroyd Chase On Again?

Bothroyd Chase On Again?

According to the Daily Mail, Birmingham City are still chasing Jay Bothroyd and ears have been pricked at St Andrews after Bluebird`s manager Dave Jones said he may be forced to sell the player.

Jones is quoted in saying: 'If Jay wants to wait we will have a decision to make in January if an offer comes in. It would be a case of should we sell him or run it through to the end of the season and see what happens?'

Alex McLeish has been interested in signing the player for some time now and he would be only too happy to part with the readies for a cut price bargain.

Stop stealing our players! Bent chose you at the last minute, you've been chasing Burke, McCormack and Bothroyd and got a steal in Johnson for £5m. Jerome for £3.5m was fair but do your scouts live in Cardiff?!?
